We have worked together for more than 20 years, and are delighted to announce that we have very recently been joined by Darryl Stevenson. Please feel free to call or email any member of the team and discuss your requirements.

Meet Rupert Mitchell

Rupert is a founding director of the Nightingale Group and primarily focuses on Asset Management, acquisitions and disposals. Since 2001;

  • Rupert worked at GVA for six years at GVA in the well-respected Investment and Development Team of where he carried out origination, structuring, due diligence, execution and asset management on both investments and development.
  • Rupert was involved in the establishment of one of Abu Dhabi's largest property asset management companies.
  • Rupert has experience in the loan security and asset backed valuation market as well as consulting on and appraising developments for a diverse range of clients.
  • Nightingale Partners (2007)

Rupert has a strong client following, providing conservative advice across the core sectors with ongoing advice to clients on asset management initiatives to enhance value and improve the marketability of their assets.

Rupert was awarded a degree from the University of Reading in Land Management and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered surveyors.

Meet Richard Pope

Richard is a director of the Nightingale Group, and has specialised in the UK commercial property market for over 30 years. During his career Richard has worked for;

  • Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in both the Fund Management Division, and as a Director in the London Investment Division for 11 years.
  • GVA Saxon Law where he spent 7 years and became an equity partner, representing both private and institutional clients on property investment transactions throughout Central London and the UK.
  • Nightingale Partners (since 2009).

Over the years Richard has developed strong relationships with a number of overseas private investors, as well as some of principal UK institutions and property companies and has considerable experience in dealing with all property investment types.

Richard was awarded a degree from Southbank University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered surveyors.

Meet James Turner

James is a director of the Nightingale Group.

Recently James' work has included equity origination and investment acquisition advice and brokerage. James is now focused on asset management and advising a small number of extremely high calibre investors in the UK property market.

James joined GVA Saxon Law in 2002 having completed a Real Estate degree in Oxford.

James gained experience in GVA Saxon Law’s Management and Leasing departments before returning full time to the Investment department.

Whilst in the Investment and Development Team, James worked in a team of four on the largest acquisition spree ever seen in the Central London office market.

After four years, James was seconded to Abu Dhabi where he and Rupert Mitchell started Foundation Property Management. Foundation is now one of Abu Dhabi’s largest property asset management companies.

Meet Darryl Stevenson

Darryl has over 30 years' experience working in the UK wide investment and development markets. He has acted for a diverse range of clients from property companies and private investors to London Local Authorities, colleges, charities and private equity funds.

Darryl joined Nightingale Partners having previously been a Partner at Bidwells for 9 years. Prior to that, Darryl was a partner and co-owner of an agency practice, prior to which he spent 11 years at another London based commercial agency practice which sold in 2005.

Known as having a terrier-like approach, Darryl is dedicated in securing his clients the best deals in the investment and development markets. Cultivating strong relationships is an important aspect of his role, as this ensures he can meet his client's ambitions.

Utilising his knowledge, Darryl has spent over 25 years building up a retail, leisure and development portfolio worth over £100m for one of his clients and continues to deliver comprehensive consultancy advice.

His work on the sale of a mixed-use investment in Kensington worth £28m required a dedicated and proactive approach acting on behalf of a Cambridge College, and, a London Diocese has worked with Darryl time and time again for his creative solutions across their extensive portfolio.

Darryl was awarded an Estate Management degree from Southbank University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Meet Chris White

Chris is a Director of Nightingale Property Asset Management.

He has specialised in UK commercial property management for over 30 years.

He started his career at Richard Ellis in 1986 doing portfolio management and then joined Hillier Parker’s shopping centre management team in 1988. They sponsored Chris’ MRICS qualification by correspondence.

He then joined King Sturge (subsequently JLL) in 1992 managing Pension Fund client portfolios around the UK. Chris developed extensive experience in property portfolio management across all property types working for clients such as Aviva, Legal & General Investment Management and The Church Commissioners for England. In 2007 Chris became lead Director for the Legal & General Investment Management mandate.

Chris joined GVA (subsequently Avison Young) in 2014 to head up the West End Management team predominantly managing the Berkeley Square Estate in Mayfair.

He joined Nightingale Partners in October 2019 to set up Nightingale Property Asset Management.

Meet Verona Feurtado

Verona has over 30-years experience in property management accounts working on both client side and for managing agents, overseeing the various aspects of Property Management Accounting to ensure RICS compliance and to provide a fast and effective accounting service for clients.

Verona started her property management career in 1988 as Deputy Property Accounts Supervisor for Hermes Pensions Management, managing their vast portfolio in-house and then joined BNP Paribas in 1998 as Senior Property Accounts Manager working directly for their client Green Properties and Coal Pension Properties.
